Both my parents are from Burundi where I was born in 1996.  We lived in Germany for 19 years, because my dad was an ambassador and diplomate.  My mom was very entrepreneurial and owned a business in Burundi and Dubai. I unfortunately lost my mother in 2020. 

In April 2017, I came to the United States to live with my brother since my country was experiencing some civil unrest.  I also came to further my education and to pursue a professional soccer career.  I came here with very little money but I was not going to take money from my parents, because I understood the importance of making it on my own. 

I was working many jobs for years, but I always made time to train people after 5:00 at night and that is where I found my real happiness.  I was so passionate about training and felt very confident that my calling was to make people better.  

After 2 years working tons of jobs I told myself I want to spend the rest of my times on the court or on the field because that’s where I belonged and I’ve known it since I am kid. I had a dream when I was a kid to train people and inspire everyone through training.  It was a very hard road but people started noticing my coaching and training through small groups and private lessons.  They especially noticed the words of encouragement and how I was able to bring out the best in their kids.  

I got my coaching license to bring my experience to the community and took soccer as my main Job. In the summer, I trained five soccer camps for an Elite Star Soccer Camp, and Nito Soccer Academy, and coached for Legends Futbol Academy and the JV team at San Marcos High school. All of my personal experiences have prepared me to develop a great understanding about how to appropriately and best coach youth players.

People kept asking me for more lessons so I started the KAZE Academy.  After just four years of living in USA I am now living my dream.  Just a 25 year old kid from Burundi with big dreams.
